063-24 The Purchase of VxRail Production Servers #16406

The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority ("JMAA") is seeking bids for the purchase VxRail Production Servers (the "Work") for the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport.

Project Background
JMAA currently uses two (2) critical DELL production servers and one (1) DELL SAN (Storage Area Network) equipment primarily used for data storage, which the manufacturer no longer sells, provides updates, or renews hardware support contracts on these systems. The equipment will be replaced with four (4) DELL (or equivalent) VxRAIL technologies. This purchase transaction will: 1) Optimize the IT infrastructure cost by running business-critical workloads on a consolidated, high-performing virtual server platform that delivers improved application reliability, redundancy, functionality, virtualization, and performance; 2) Reduce annual hardware maintenance costs; and 3) Support future business expansion efforts

Pre-Bid Conference
JMAA will hold a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. (CST) in the Community Room, Third Floor of the Main Terminal Building at JAN. The Pre-Bid Conference may also be attended virtually.

Sealed Bids
Sealed bids to perform the Work will be accepted by JMAA until 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 (the "Bid Deadline"). Bids shall be accepted electronically, by mail, or by hand delivery as follows:

JMAA will publicly open and read all bids on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. (CST) (the "Bid

Bidders and their authorized representatives to be present at the Bid Opening.

Evaluation of Bid Proposal
Award of contract will be based on the lowest bid submitted from those bidders that are confirmed as being
responsive and responsible. Only those Bids timely received, in proper form and meeting all qualifications will
be considered. Upon receipt, each Proposal will be reviewed for conformance to the RFB instructions
regarding organization, format, and required content. Proposals that are missing information such that a full
evaluation cannot occur will be deemed nonresponsive and ineligible for further consideration.
